Get Crafty! DIY Necklace Rack
What you will need:
- Piece of scrap wood.
- Buttons (7 or so).
- Small Bolts (same amount as buttons, cost .12 at hardware store).
- Glue gun or some strong all purpose glue.
- 2 tooth wall hangers & little nails (usually come in a picture hanging kits)
- Ruler, pencil & hammer
• Optional: Needle and thread. I used the needle and thread to thread through the buttons holes before gluing. I think it looks a little nicer, but is optional.
• Take your buttons and play with layouts on your scrap wood. I ended up wanting to cut my scrap wood down after deciding on what I liked.
• Once you decide on your layout, take your bolts and use a pencil to lark in the center of them. This is where the ruler helps if you want them to be evenly spaced out. I placed mine 1.5” apart with an inch on both ends.
• Next, flip over your wood (making sure top is still the top) and mark 1/4” down from top on both sides. Take your ruler and draw a line straight across. This will act as your guide for placing the tooth wall holders. You want to do this first because once buttons are glued on it will be difficult to hammer in holders.
• Now you can glue on the bolts matching up your marks with the centers.
• Glue on your buttons over the bolts.
• Finished!
P.S. This being my very first Get Crafty posting, I hope to improve my documenting skills. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Also, if you make any Get Crafty projects, we would love to see them!

Continuing on the subject of organization, this is a much more low maintenance way to organize art supplies in the classroom. I found this here and it takes no time at all to make!
